I want to take this moment to speak directly to all of our customers, supporters, friends, and family.
The past four years have been incredibly painful — not only for me, but for my customers and loved ones, for which I truly apologise. It has been a tumultuous period in my life, filled with uncertainties and trials that tested the very core of who I am. The experience, as unfortunate as it was, has taught me invaluable lessons and fostered significant personal growth. I now have a clearer understanding of what truly matters.
Running a business is inherently challenging, especially managing stress from ongoing expenses compounded by skyrocketing shipping rates, unreliable third-party suppliers, and employee malfeasance.
To sustain the business, I parted ways with personal and sentimental possessions, choosing resilience and integrity over public defence or complaint.
During this process, in shock and paralysis, staring into the deepest hole, I sought a public example of someone who had stood up for me and said, “You know what? No — he didn’t do those things.” but found none. I hope my case helps others in similar predicaments choose not to let injustice prevail.
We must build a society where innocence is presumed until proven otherwise, and the accusation economy does not have the power to derail reputations, careers, and lives. It's harmful to all of us.
I will be working with the liquidator to provide what is necessary to conclude this chapter, moving forward with my head held high.
RAMA WORKS will continue, carried forward through select distributors, ensuring the products and vision endure. Only after countless trials can steel be forged. I believe what lies ahead will be stronger, purer, and more meaningful than before.
I look forward to personally rediscovering creativity, inspiration, and embracing new beginnings.
For now, I will continue writing the end of this chapter with a happy ending.
