M50-A

The M50-A is the first of our GRID layout keyboards here at RAMA WORKS®. It features RGB LEDs (Hotswap Only) and the leaf spring mount plate. Variable layouts are available with the Solderable variant of the board.

LEAF SPRING PLATE MOUNT

M50-A features a leaf spring plate mount, an innovative plate mount design utilizing thin strips of the plate to act as a leaf spring between the plate and the case. Leaf spring mount provides exceptional flexibility, allowing the entire plate/PCB sub-assembly to yield under keystrokes and vibrate in isolation from the case. The result is a typing experience that is soft and vibrant across the whole keyboard.

SOLDERLESS OR SOLDERABLE & IN-SWITCH RGB

(HOTSWAP ONLY)

In an effort to provide the best end-user experience available, the M50-A PCB requires no soldering to construct with any Cherry MX-compatible switches. The M50-A offers a USB-C connection attached to the USB Extension PCB. There are also additional PCBs available for individual sale. The hotswap board includes in-switch RGB LEDs under the PCB, which require no installation. The backlight and layout are configurable with the user-friendly VIA application.

The M50-Ax variant is a solderable version without hotswap sockets or RGB LEDs for those who want an alternative layout

THE EDITIONS

The M50-A comes in a variety of finishes. All editions are CNC milled Aluminium. The KURO edition is carefully bead-blasted to a consistently smooth finish and then anodised to our standard-issue black colouring. The MILK and YOLK edition tops are electrophoretically coated to their bold matte finish. And finally, the NANO edition top is powder-coated in a retro-futuristic grey. The NANO/MILK/YOLK all feature the same powder-coated MOON base.

Replace the included SILO plate with a plate in a different color. Combine with an extra PCB to easily switch between different builds.

RW FT MX-X T10 A FASTENERS

The M50-A utilises our custom fasteners. You’ll only need one tool, a Torx T10 driver (included), to assemble and disassemble most of the keyboard, except for the CSK screws in the Hotswap plate which uses a T6 driver (included)
